Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible experience in software development, application design, or information systems is required. Within this experience, the following are highly desired: hands-on development of web applications using modern frameworks and languages (such as ASP.NET Core/C#, and/or Java or Node.js); experience creating and consuming web services or APIs (RESTful and SOAP) and working with relational database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server). Experience in cloud-based development and deployment (preferably on Azure, using services like Azure App Services, Functions, or containers) and in implementing CI/CD pipelines is required to support the Unit’s cloud-first approach. Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong asset. Experience with low-code development platforms and workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Platform) as well as with data visualization/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is highly desirable. Prior exposure to legacy systems modernization (such as migrating Lotus Notes/Domino applications or upgrading outdated systems) is an advantage. Project & Portfolio related experience such as building personal apps, contribution to open source on GitHub, or completion of guided projects. Familiarity with modern toolchains and frameworks (i.e., git, tailwind, node, react, typescript and AI tools awareness).
Education: A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
