Job Description:
The Physical Verification clerks need to perform regular and ad-hoc physical verification of property at clients premises. Under the operational supervision of the FMS Property Management Unit, the work assignment includes property and equipment verification, and data entry tasks using barcode readers or other provided equipment. Summary of specific Tasks:
• Read and comprehend architectural floor plans ;
• Use and operate barcode readers and use electronic devices such as tablets, Android etc. ;
• Capture, edit analyze data; including Serial No., Location, Status, Description, Assignment of property.
• Scan barcode labels affixed to property with a serialization profile and ensure the proper recording of information;
• Identify, record and report on any and all obvious discrepancies in property record from physical verification exercises.
• Produce reliable information to allow for proper management of property records;
Quality/Characteristics of required personnel
• Mature persons of employment age with at least a Secondary education, preferably with minimum Certification or training in related area of work and/or information technology. .
