Job Description:

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for Network Equipment Support Standard. This resource will be working at our client site in Colombia.

Job Responsibilities:

ICT Support

-Provision of timely and effective technical assistance and support for users, including software/hardware installation and operational support.
-Serve as the initial point of contact for users seeking technical assistance through the iNeed platform. Resolve and close all tickets and communicate status updates to users.
-Guide users through the problem-solving process, determining the best solutions based on the provided details.
-Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support personnel and pass on user feedback or suggestions to the supervisor.
-Manage hardware and software upgrades in a timely manner as required.
-Continue effectively performing any additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor, ensuring flexibility and adaptability as needed.

Network Management

-Designing and planning network architecture based on requirements and future growth projections.
-Selecting appropriate networking hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, to meet performance and security needs.
-Installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment and devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
-Implementing network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and DHCP, to support organizational requirements.
-Monitoring network performance, traffic, and usage to identify bottlenecks, congestion, or security threats.
-Implementing network optimization strategies, such as Quality of Service (QoS) and traffic shaping, to prioritize critical applications and ensure efficient bandwidth utilization.
-Diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues, performance problems, and hardware/software failures in a timely manner.
-Providing technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT staff members on network-related issues.
