Job Description:
Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for LTE Network Support. This resource will be working anywhere in Africa.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise and maintenance of WAN and LAN networks across the client sites by providing remote assistance.
• Function as LTE SME on Core Network Planning efforts on new systems implementation within client’s network.
• Provide high-level expertise on routing and switching, VPN, QoS, integration of the WAN with external providers and other network-related policies in the LTE network.
• Clear understanding of 3GPP for Packet Core Network, SGSN/ MME/ GGSN/ SGW/ PGW and IP/ QoS/ SIP Protocol.
• Understand and manage the network security configuration, health check strategy, MBSS (Minimum Baseline Security Standard) operations, and maintenance in LTE.
• Good Understanding of the LTE/ 4G protocols, and ability to generate KPI reports upon request.
• Good understanding and hands-on practical experience of EPC/EPG, eNodeB, Microwave, Router, Modem, and hybrid transmission system commissioning.
• Consolidate, fine-tune, and integrate traffic statistics of the client's LTE Internal Network using in-house monitoring systems/tools to better assess remote sites capacity requirements, utilization and metrics to aide decision-making on network requirements and policies.
• Work closely with the ICT security teams to provide high-level network guidance and support for the prevention and mitigation of threats and abuses on the clients Network.
Academic Qualifications:
University degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or the equivalent
Desired Certifications: Checkpoint Certifications:
Checkpoint Security Administrator (CCSA) and Checkpoint Security Expert (CCSE). CISCO Certifications: Certified Network Profession (CCNP); CISCO Certified Design Associate (CCDA); CISCO Certified Design Profession (CCDP)
Work experience: A minimum of three (03) years of experience in an Information Technology environment especially in Wide Area Network designs and implementation, including LTE network environment.
Language skills: English (Required), Level – Fluent; French (Optional)
Area of expertise: IT architecture and Telecommunications systems
Driving license: Yes (Required) – Four Wheel drive
