Job Description:
Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Java Developer in Albany, NY.
Description:
• Writing/updating server-side, web-based applications for centralized systems in the WebLogic environment using Java Enterprise.
• Writing/Updating stand-alone Java programs used for data ETL.
• Leveraging DB Objects in an Oracle database.
• Modifying or transitioning programs currently written in CGI/PERL.
Mandatory Qualification:
• Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and Object-Oriented Systems and Design (OOSD) focusing primarily in Java.
• 60 months experience using the following Java frameworks: Struts, Hibernate, Spring.
• 60 months experience programming Java in BEA WebLogic 9.0 and up environment.
• 60 months experience using Java/J2EE components like Servlets, JSPs, EJBs, MDBs, JAAS Security, XML and XML schemas.
• 60 months demonstrated experience with Oracle 12c (or later) and understanding database objects like procedures, functions and cursors, and experience with Oracle SQL query optimization.
• 48 months experience with version control: GitLab/GitHub
• 36 months experience programming in CGI/Perl.
• 60 months experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable field.
