Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for Immersive Technology Developer. This resource will be working at our client site in Italy.
Job Description:
• Contribute to the development of innovative VR/AR/MR applications (desktop, mobile, headsets) using Unity 3D Engine
• Work with other teams and stakeholders to ensure applications are implemented according to client needs
• Implement custom game engine features and rendering techniques for photo-realistic and data visualization purposes
• Integrating and maintaining third-party SDKs and libraries
• Write optimized code considering CPU, memory and network requirements
• Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation, modularization, simplification
Requirements
• University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, AI, or similar
• 3+ years of practical software engineering experience in game development or VR/AR/MR industry
• Excellent knowledge of game engines (Unity)
• Excellent skills in programming with C#, experience with at least one other language such as C++, Java, Python
• Experience with AR frameworks/platforms (HoloLens, Vuforia, Magic leap, Android ARCore, IOS ARKit)
• Knowledge of environment and level-related meshes, collision, materials, and textures
• Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required.
Recommended Qualifications
• Experience with XR devices, integration, and UX/UI
• Solid experience/knowledge of Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, solutions within mobile devices, headsets, etc
• Experience with 3D game development for desktop/mobile devices
• Familiarity with GIS applications and technologies, ideally ArcGIS
• Familiarity with Shader programming
• Experience in third-party libraries integration for mobile
