Job Description
Provision of integrated innovation support for the Digital Twin project, including geospatial applications, 3D and XR solutions, digital twin assets, workflow automation, prototyping, quality assurance, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Functional Responsibilities:
• Support the creation of cartographic products, geospatial visualizations, digital twins, and 3D/XR solutions.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives through prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and evaluation of emerging geospatial, AI, XR, and visualization technologies.
• Develop and maintain geo-enabled web, mobile, and XR applications using modern frameworks and tools.
• Generate and manage 3D models, assets, and digital twin products from remote sensing and other data sources.
• Support automation of geospatial workflows and integration of geospatial components into enterprise systems.
• Perform QC/QA on geospatial, visualization, and digital twin products.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, data managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into innovative technical solutions.
• Build tools to streamline and automate data processing workflows.
• Document automated data-processing workflows and prepare the associated technical documentation.
• Collaborate with geospatial analysts, technicians, data managers, and developers to coordinate technical implementation and resolve cross-disciplinary dependencies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial solutions into enterprise applications, platforms, and operational workflows.
• Prepare technical documentation, user guidance, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Provide technical support, identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, digital media, 3D Digital production, graphic /design disciplines, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital media, 3D visualization, digital twins, or XR solutions.
• Experience with 3D game development for desktop/mobile devices.
• Experience developing and integrating solutions for XR devices, including UX/UI design for VR, AR, or MR environments.
• Experience developing prototypes, proof-of-concepts, or innovative technology solutions.
• Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools (e.g., Blender, Unity, CityEngine, Twinmotion, MeshLab).
• Knowledge of 3D environment and level design, including meshes, collision models, materials, and textures
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Experience:
• Knowledge of geospatial technologies.
• Experience with AI/ML, computer vision, automation, or data analytics.
• Experience with XR technologies (VR/AR/MR), digital twin platforms, and game engines.
• Familiarity with GIS applications and technologies, ideally ArcGIS.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to create and render 3D animations using Maya, Unity, or comparable tools.
• Experience performing quality control and quality assurance on 3D models, animations, textures, and related assets.
