Job Description:
Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for GIS Developer. This resource will be working at our client site in Brindisi, Italy.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure web applications using .NET Framework.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Provide support in managing and supporting Geospatial solutions hosted and delivered through ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Support in developing resilient and secured solutions and modules including workflows as part of existing or a new project.
• Experience with development using .Net Technologies, ESRI ArcGIS and Geocortex.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of the developed and deployed solutions built in .Net, SQL Server.
• Experience with ArcGIS JS API.
• Experience with Geocortex.
• Experienced in Azure DevOps, implementing solutions deployment pipelines.
• Familiar with SCRUM and Agile software development methodologies and processes.
• Experienced with major cloud environments and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain mobile GIS applications using cross-platform frameworks.
• Implement responsive mobile mapping interfaces and tools for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance and user experience in low-bandwidth environments.
• Build tools to streamline and automate data processing workflows.
• Support the team in maintaining existing geospatial platforms, services, and applications.
• Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary development team following an Agile delivery methodology.
Required skills:
• Previous working experience with .Net and ArcGIS platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of Full Stack Development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of programming language, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Esri ArcGIS JavaScript API / OpenLayers / Leaflet.
• JavaScript Frameworks (ideally Angular or React).
• Python (ideally ArcPy and/or ArcGIS API for Python).
• T-SQL and/or PL/pgSQL.
• .NET Core / .NET Framework (ideally 6) (C#).
Practical experience of:
• DevOps (Azure) and SCRUM.
• MS Visual Studio IDEs (ideally VS2019 and/or VS2022).
• MS SQL Server (spatial extension) and/or PostGIS.
• Esri ArcGIS Pro / QGIS.
• Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS Online (Experience Builder/Web AppBuilder is desirable).
• Consuming and publishing REST Web Services and OGC Map Services.
Desirable Skills:
• Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes on App Store and Google Play.
• Experience integrating GIS features into mobile applications, including offline capabilities.
