Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily health checks and monitoring of Linux servers, VMware infrastructure, and storage devices.
Monitor infrastructure alerts using Monitoring tools, and escalate incidents to L2 /L3 teams as required.
Provide basic support for server provisioning, VM deployment, and routine maintenance tasks.
Assist with physical activities in the data center such as racking/stacking, cabling, and hardware inventory updates.
Maintain documentation for incident response, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers following the defined escalation matrix.
Coordinate with service providers and vendors for hardware or software-related issues.
Ensure adherence to ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management.
