Job Description:
Trigyn has an Opportunity for a DevOps Engineer. This resource will be working at our client site in Bangkok, Thailand.
Job Responsibilities:
The consultant will support the operation of websites and other web applications run on client's shared web farm platform in the Primary Data Centre (PTC) in New York and multiple regions in AWS. The consultant will be responsible for:
Monitoring the health of the web farm platform in PTC and AWS
Responding to and resolving incidents affecting the web farm and other managing platforms
Configuring and deploying new features or services based on requested work orders
Documenting processes and building a knowledge database
Deliverables:
Incident reports and troubleshooting guides
Release notes for deployed sites and applications
Updated platform configuration documents
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
Experience/Skills:
A minimum of two years' work experience in the information technology field, specifically in application operation, with expertise in managing web applications, load balancers, or other distributed systems.
Proficiency in:
o Web technologies: HTML/CSS/Json
o Protocols: HTTP/SSH/FTP/Git/WebSockets
o Open-source solutions: Apache, PHP
o Multi-tier application architecture
o Cloud computing
o Load balancer and high availability
o Virtualization/Containerization
o Hands-on Linux/Unix system administration
Preferred knowledge in:
o Scripting (Shell, Python, etc)
o Continuous Integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
o GitLab
o Docker/Kubernetes
o Drupal and WCM
o MySQL/MariaDB
Strong organization and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, resolve ambiguity, and achieve results.
