Job Description:
Trigyn has an opportunity Data Architect. This resource will work at our client sites in Mumbai/Pune/Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad.
Job Responsibilities:
• 10+ years of professional experience in Data Management, Information Systems and other BI-related fields is required.
• +2 years of data architect experience.
• +1 year of public cloud developments
• Experience with Incorta and Oracle Cloud
• Experience with the Data Modeler tool.
• Experience working as a member of distributed data architecture teams (on-premise or cloud)
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), web services, enterprise data management, information security, applications development, and cloud-based architectures with federal clients.
• Experience with enterprise data management technologies, including database platforms, ETL tools, and SQL.
• Strong experience with at least one of the following: Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, D3.js and R)
This role encompasses all aspects of data management, conceptual, logical, and physical. The role is not tightly focused on the physical implementation.
Daily activities include:
• Support Lead data architect in revising enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models; creating data models that conform to existing standards and conventions
• Providing leadership and guidance with enterprise data strategies
• Revising data dictionary definitions, governance practices, and standards
• Partnering with security architects to ensure compliance with data security and privacy mandates.
Scope of Work / Duties of Consultant:
• Construct and develop Data Architecture solutions such as Data Warehousing or Data Lakes
• Work in the public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google or Oracle) as well as on-premises
• Work with distributed environments (Incorta, HDFS/Hadoop, Spark, etc)
• Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality
• Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
• Supervise and develop ETL processes
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Improve performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
• Define dashboards or reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Qlik is a plus
• Experience in MDM project development is a plus
Required Technical Skills:
The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:
• Data Architecture Construction and Development
• Data Warehousing and Data Lake Solutions
• Supervise and Develop Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes
• Data Modeling
• Database Architecture Testing
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
• Strong JAVA and/or Microsoft .NET C# development skills
• Experience working with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector (BICC) and Universal Content Management (UCM).
• Good communication skills and customer relationship skills
• Knowledge of configuration management and version control processes
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology and concepts.
• Experience working with large non-profit Organizations (UN)
• Knowledge of a second language would be an asset.
Desirable certifications:
• Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in computer science, engineering or other relevant fields. A Bachelor's degree with five additional work experience is also acceptable
• Any Data certification as Microsoft Data Certifications, AWS Big Data Specialist, Cloudera, Microsoft Data Management and Analytics, Microsoft Azure Big Data Analytics Solution, Oracle BI Intelligence Foundation Plus or SAS Big Data will be a plus.
• Prince2 Agile, ITIL, SCRUM, etc. certifications preferred
