Job Description:
Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Business / QA Analyst in Albany, NY.
Description:
• Review business and functional requirements, as well as related Use Cases related to multiple Web Application and Web Services
• Create and maintain documentation in Testing Tools such as HP ALM; coordinate, create and update Knowledge Base and Application documentation
• Develop or maintain detailed test plans/test cases/test scripts from documented system requirements related to Web Services and Web applications • Execute functional and system tests including regression tests using manual and automated testing tools and record results using testing tools. Use tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, SOAP UI and POSTMAN
• Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, perform retesting as required.
• Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g. missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process. • Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases
• Lead the communication and reporting of testing results to BA Management, Application Development team, and Enterprise Architecture team
• Attend Remediation Effort meetings and communicate progress and status.
Mandatory Qualification:
• Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience developing and/or maintaining system artifacts and documentation including business requirements, user, and functional requirements, project process documentation, quality assurance and contingency operations plans and reports.
• 84 Months experience in obtaining and writing use cases, process models, workflows, creating screen mock-ups, report mock-ups and technical documents with attention to detail.
• 60 months experience QA experience including the following:
• Create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test scripts
• Execute functional and system tests including regression tests using manual and automated testing tools and record results using HP ALM/Quality Center (or equivalent)
• Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, performing retesting as required.
• Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g. missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases
• 24 months experience validating requirements and executing test cases specific to web services. Experience should include using testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI or an equivalent.
