Job Description:
The consultant will provide senior-level functional and strategic advisory support for the assessment and transformation of our client's procurement and supply chain processes from SAP ECC Public Sector to SAP S/4HANA Public Sector.
The consultant will analyze current-state procurement processes and identify opportunities for modernization, simplification, automation, operational efficiency, and alignment with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
The consultant will:
• Conduct assessment of current ECC procurement and supply chain processes.
• Analyze impacts of migration from ECC to SAP S/4HANA Public Sector.
• Identify functional gaps, operational constraints, and modernization opportunities.
• Develop future-state procurement process recommendations.
• Advise on adoption of SAP best practices and reduction of legacy customizations.
• Support design of simplified and operationally friendly workflows.
• Assess opportunities for embedded analytics and automation.
• Support business process harmonization activities.
• Contribute to roadmap development for procurement transformation.
• Develop executive-level briefing materials and recommendations.
• Participate in stakeholder consultations and workshops.
• Provide advisory support on integration with related supply chain functions.

• Current-State Procurement Assessment Report.
• ECC to S/4HANA Functional Impact Analysis.
• Procurement Modernization Recommendations.
• Future-State Process Design Documentation.
• Functional Gap Analysis.
• Executive Briefing Presentations.
• Inputs to Overall Supply Chain Transformation Roadmap.
• Knowledge transfer and advisory documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
• Advanced university degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of SAP functional consulting experience.
• Extensive experience in SAP ECC Public Sector procurement solutions.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Sector procurement capabilities.
• Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM), sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and related supply chain processes.
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale ERP transformation programmes.
• Experience in public sector or international organizations is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting complex global supply chain environments.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to engage senior business stakeholders.
