Job Description:
A consultant (Web Designer) is required to provide professional and harmonized web design; and to develop and maintain a top-notch user interface that is logical, consistent, efficient and ensures good usability and accessibility.
Primary Functions
The consultant will design or redesign webpages or components of webpages, including all associated elements, as per the requirements and specifications provided by the programme manager for each tool. Specifically, the web designer will:
· Analyse and understand user workflows and activities
· Produce initial design concepts for new or redesigned interfaces
· Review and refine designs in consultation with the programme manager
· Develop dynamic, interconnected design prototypes
· Conduct iterative evaluations of designs with the programme manager
· Where required, build HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS prototypes using a grid-based layout
· Evaluate prototype designs jointly with the programme manager
· Implement the finalized user interface
· Incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments throughout the process
Methods of Work
The consultant will collaborate with the programme manager through virtual meetings, as required.
