Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Systems Architect in Albany, NY.
Description:
The consultant will be assisting with DTF modernization and finding alternative options/solutions for existing imaging systems, utilizing various technologies such as .NET and/or C#, application administration, AIX Shell Scripting on the UNIX platform and DB2 skills. The consultant will also be assisting with the multi-tier architecture design and implementations, participating in all phases of the software development life cycle- requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, and production support.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months of experience supporting government organizations which includes business domain knowledge, technical design, application development, maintenance and end user support of complete Business-Related processing systems.
• 84 months of experience in UNIX and AIX OS with usage of Shell Scripting, CRON TAB and DB2 databases.
• 84 months of experience as Server Administrator, including deployment, administration and support of applications hosted on them
• 48 months of experience with Visual Basic, .NET and/or C# application development and support.
