Job Description:

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Sr. Project Manager in Manhattan, NY.

The client is seeking a Project Manager who will oversee the ServiceNow program. The role ensures there is a governance framework and the goal for each release is achievable. The project manager coordinates activities across teams including the requestors, business analysts, developers and testers.

Daily Duties/Tasks:
• Provide project management oversight and define the scope, goals and manage and deliver ServiceNow projects and releases.
• Establish and enforce a governance framework using practices.
• Leverage PMI and ITIL standards, as well as agile methodologies.
• Facilitate the team through collaborative meetings, buffers them from external interference, and identifies and removes barriers that slow their progress.
• Communicate status to project sponsors, IT leadership and other stakeholders
• Serve as an escalation point to resolve obstacles, and work to deliver project work and releases on schedule and budget. Supports test teams in validating new features and defect fixes prior to their introduction in production environments.
• Maintain product backlog from the initial business needs and requirements and plan for releases

• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects through all phases of the PMLC and SDLC including initiation, requirements, planning, design, build, test, and deploy.
• 5+ years of experience managing ServiceNow ITSM/SPM/Core platform implementations.
• 5 years of relevant work experience in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with leading teams.
• Certified as a project manager by PMI or other similar organization.
• Positive attitude, including ability and willingness to "wear many hats" on an IT project -- e.g.,
• BA, Tester, Communicator, if needed.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Clear communicator and presenter; able to present to executive levels.
• ServiceNow Certifications
• Expertise with Agile Scrum methodology
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suites, including MS Projects.
