Role Overview
The Power Platform Developer will design, build, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Dataverse, supported by an Azure-based integration layer. The role covers application development, data modeling, API enablement, networking, security, and environment provisioning using enterprise-grade cloud standards and shared infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Power Apps & Dataverse Development
• Develop applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) with Dataverse as the core data platform.
• Work within an existing Dataverse environment created from a baseline data model; extend and enhance the schema responsibly.
• Coordinate data model updates with stakeholders to ensure alignment across systems.
• Build reusable, standardized business logic components for both UI and integration consumption.
• Ensure solutions leverage the capabilities of Microsoft’s SaaS/PaaS offerings with scalability and maintainability in mind.
2. Azure Integration & API Development
• Develop integration components using Azure services, including Function Apps, Logic Apps, App Services, Storage Accounts, and related services.
• Build APIs to support key business operations and ensure API payloads reflect the full data model where required.
• Deploy integration components in dedicated resource groups, following enterprise landing zone patterns.
• Configure VNET-integrated application services and implement secure network boundaries.
• Reuse enterprise-level shared Azure components such as API Management, Service Bus, Application Gateway, and WAF policies.
• Register APIs in shared API Management instances and configure products, backends, and policies as required.
• Implement document storage using Azure Blob Storage.
• Support environment provisioning using Terraform and participate in CI/CD pipelines.
3. Interfaces & External Integrations
• Design and implement integrations with third-party or enterprise systems
• Ensure integrations align with security, authentication, and private endpoint requirements.
4. Infrastructure, Security & Deployment
• Deploy solutions into spoke VNets within an enterprise landing zone framework.
• Configure private endpoints for secure communication with shared Azure services, including Service Bus and API Management.
• Ensure high availability within the region according to enterprise standards.
• Implement monitoring and diagnostics with Azure Application Insights.
• Use enterprise-provided email delivery platforms where required.
• Follow cloud governance and resource hygiene practices throughout development and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Dataverse data modeling.
• Proficiency with Power Automate, custom connectors, and server-side extensions such as plugins or PCF components.
• Solid experience with Azure Integration Services:
o Azure Functions
o Logic Apps
o App Services
o Azure API Management
o Azure Service Bus
o Application Gateway and WAF
o Azure Storage (Blob/Table)
• Experience working with VNET-integrated services, private endpoints, and enterprise networking setups.
• Good understanding of REST API design and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Experience implementing authentication via Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong communication, analysis, and documentation skills.

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400).
• Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-500, AZ-305 or equivalent).
• Experience integrating with healthcare, ERP, or compliance-heavy systems.
• Background with enterprise landing zones or multi-tenant architectures.
