About the Role:
The Senior Full Stack Developer plays a pivotal role in the team, driving the development and implementation of advanced cloud-native solutions. This role requires deep expertise in cloud-native design and microservices architecture to enhance the application and its integrated systems. The developer ensures that solutions deliver business value, remain scalable, resilient, and aligned with modern cloud computing standards. Additionally, the ideal candidate is a strong advocate for CI/CD and modern software engineering best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Scope of Work/Responsibilities
• Develop scalable and robust cloud-native solutions. Ensure the architecture aligns with best practices for cloud-native applications, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.
• Develop front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and technologies. Implement APIs and integrate with third-party services as required. Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Set up and configure cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Azure. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate deployment and scaling.
• Establish, oversee and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure seamless integration and delivery of new features and updates.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and applications. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Monitor?and optimize the performance of the application and infrastructure. Implement caching, load balancing, and other techniques to enhance performance and reliability.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for the developed solutions, including architecture diagrams, runbook, code comments, drop plan in Azure DevOps, capacity plan and user guides.
• Provide training, product demonstrations and support to the development team and stakeholders.
• Makes architectural decisions, selects frameworks, and defines coding standards.
• Tackles ambiguous problems, drives technical discussions, oversee testing strategies, proposes innovative solutions, and ensures system resilience.
• Provides production support (Level 2 Support) to assess, analyze, recommend solution and address / fix production incident tickets.
• Participate in all Agile team ceremonies / activities where developers are required.
• The Senior Full Stack Developer will provide any other services as required by the team and ADB ITD supervisor or user unit.

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in full stack development, with a strong emphasis on native design and architecture.
• A proven track record of delivering high quality, scalable and secure software solutions that meets project requirements and industry standards.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Next.js, React, Angular.
• Expertise in back-end development using languages such as Node.js.
• Deep expertise with cloud platforms such as Azure, including services like Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.
• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including data modeling, partitioning, and querying using no SQL API or other supported APIs.
• API development and strategies including authentication, API Gateway, and authorization.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, and how to integrate them with Azure Reports.
• Proficiency in writing Terraform scripts to define cloud infrastructure. Understanding of modules, state management, and working with Azure provider configurations.
• Skills in configuring build and release pipelines. Familiarity with YAML syntax for defining pipeline workflows.
• Experience with Docker and Azure Container Registry for building and managing container images.
• Knowledge of deploying and managing containerized applications using Azure Container Apps.
• Understanding of Dapr building blocks such as state management, pub/sub messaging, and service invocation for microservices architecture.
• Skills in creating and running test suites for APIs. Familiarity with Postman’s automation and scripting capabilities for testing RESTful services.
• Experience with serverless architecture, writing Azure Functions in languages like JavaScript and integrating them with other Azure services.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and how to use Azure Event Grid for handling events across different services.
• With adequate skills set in UI/UX development and continuous improvement.
• Have led cross-functional teams, mentors juniors, and drives technical discussions.

Additional Experience (would be an advantage):
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with TDD and unit testing using Jest and Cucumber.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Datadog and other monitoring tools.
• Emerging knowledge in AI technologies.
• Data modeling, creating dashboards, and reports in Power BI. Skills in integrating Power BI with Azure data sources.

Work Arrangement
• Fully remote
• Work Schedule is from 8:00AM – 5:00PM Manila Time (5:30AM to 2:30PM IST)
• Holidays – follows the Philippine ADB Holidays
