Job Description:
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY
• Experience in understanding of data warehouse concepts and structures, cubes and ETL processes.
• Should have worked with both Multidimensional and Tabular models of Cubes in SSAS.
• Assist team in development of logical and physical data models for designing/developing Data warehouse requirements.
• Perform logical and physical data models/database.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications for analytics.
• Querying & Tuning experience on MS SQL Server.
• Development/maintenance of ETL scripts, SSRS reports, SSIS packages, Store procedures.
• Ensuring the best code quality.
• Should be capable of working independently.
• Experience in leading the team, resolving their issues, providing technical support to the team, and mentoring or guiding the team.
• Soft Skills: Customer facing with excellent communication, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and learning attitude.
MUST HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in designing, developing BI and Data warehouse solutions.
• Solid understanding & experience in Microsoft ETL tools like SSIS and in-depth knowledge of SQL server.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL. Strong hands-on experience in ETL process preferably Incorta solution
• Solid understanding & experience of Azure synapse Analytics, SQL, Data Modelling, Database designing, ADF, ADL, Azure Databricks & Power BI.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate should have strong knowledge of various versions of MS SQL Server.
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• MS SQL server certification would be added advantage.
• Experience in any Data Management Tool for analysis & BI e.g., INCORTA would be an added advantage.
Skills and languages:
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; working knowledge of another UN language would be an asset.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s in computer science or computer engineering, Master’s degree would be a plus.
