5+ years in SAP SuccessFactors implementation leadership and S/4HANA architecture role
SAP SuccessFactors S/4HANA Architect with deep expertise in SAP HCM, SuccessFactors modules, and S/4HANA HR integrations. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end HR solutions, ensuring seamless integration between SuccessFactors and S/4HANA, while providing strategic guidance on HR transformation initiatives. The candidate will combine functional HR knowledge with technical and architectural expertise to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing SAP HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities
•
Lead and manage SAP SuccessFactors implementations and S/4HANA HR integration projects.
•
Architect end-to-end SuccessFactors solutions, including Employee Central (EC), Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation, and Succession modules.
•
Define HR processes and translate them into SAP functional and technical solutions aligned with best practices.
•
Design and oversee integrations between SuccessFactors and S/4HANA using SAP CPI, middleware, APIs, and other integration technologies.
•
Provide functional guidance on SAP HR processes, including core HR, organizational management, payroll interface, time management, and talent management.
•
Define technical design standards, configuration practices, and extensibility strategies for SuccessFactors and S/4HANA HR.
•
Lead cloud-based extension development and side-by-side scenarios on SAP BTP, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
•
Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure HR processes are accurately reflected in the system.
•
Support data migration, legacy HR system conversions, and technical validation activities.
•
Oversee testing, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare support.
•
Mentor and guide functional and technical consultants in SuccessFactors configuration, integration, and development.
•
Maintain technical and functional documentation for design specifications, configurations, and integration artifacts.
•
Drive continuous improvement by adopting new SAP HR, SuccessFactors, and S/4HANA features and BTP services.
Required Technical Skills:
•
End-to-end HR process knowledge: Talent Management, Employee Lifecycle, HR Operations, Payroll, Time & Attendance
•
HR organizational structure, roles, and data management in SAP
•
HR compliance and reporting requirements in SuccessFactors and S/4HANA
•
Functional expertise in Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, and other SF modules
•
SAP SuccessFactors modules: Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation, Succession
•
SAP S/4HANA HCM modules: Core HR, Payroll Interface, Time Management, OM
•
SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), API Management, OData/REST services
•
SAP BTP for extensions (CAP, Fiori Elements, side-by-side extensions)
•
SuccessFactors Integration Center, MDF Objects, Business Rules, workflows
•
Strong understanding of SAP HCM on-premise to SuccessFactors transition
•
Version control and CI/CD concepts (Git preferred)
Required Hands-On Experience
•
2–4 full-cycle SAP SF and SAP S/4HANA implementation
•
Led 2 SuccessFactors implementation or S/4HANA HCM integration projects
•
Hands-on experience in SuccessFactors data migration, system conversions, and integrations- 2 projects
•
Experience with integration of SuccessFactors with S/4HANA and third-party HR systems- 2 projects
•
Delivered multiple Employee Central and core HR module implementations
Certifications:
•
AP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruiting, or relevant module certification
•
SAP S/4HANA HCM or SAP BTP certification (preferred)
•
SAP Fiori/UI5 Certification (nice to have)
Ideal Candidate Profile
•
Ex-Employee of: SAP , Accenture , Deloitte, KPMG ,IBM, NTTData -(minimum 3 years preferred)

Willingness to travel to Qatar when required
•
Strong combination of functional, technical, and SAP HR business knowledge
•
Ability to translate complex HR requirements into scalable technical and functional solutions
•
Experience working on large SAP transformation or S/4HANA HR programs
•
Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical, functional, and business teams
