12–16 years overall experience
5+ years in SAP implementation and project delivery leadership
SAP Service Delivery Lead with extensive experience in driving SAP implementations and customizations. This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex SAP projects, ensuring operational excellence, seamless execution, and the successful realization of business outcomes for large-scale clients.
Responsibilities
? Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of SAP implementation and customization projects, from initiation through go-live and transition.
? Define and control project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality in line with agreed contractual and business objectives.
? Lead multi-disciplinary SAP delivery teams (functional, technical, integration, data, testing) across onshore and offshore locations.
? Support the assignment, recruitment, and onboarding of project resources, and actively contribute to building and scaling the required project team inline with delivery needs
? Support vendor and subcontractor management, including performance monitoring and deliverable validation.
? Drive project planning, execution, and governance using SAP Activate or equivalent delivery methodologies.
? Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and timely decision-making.
? Oversee solution design validation, fit-gap analysis, and blueprint sign-off in collaboration with business and technical leads.
? Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring proactive mitigation and controlled scope management.
? Coordinate integration activities with internal and external systems, ensuring alignment across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
? Lead cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare phases to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
? Ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery milestones, and acceptance criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
? Track and report project progress, efforts, and delivery metrics to steering committees and senior leadership.
? Support vendor and subcontractor management, including performance monitoring and deliverable validation.
? Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying best practices across SAP delivery engagement
? Support the assignment, recruitment, and onboarding of project resources, and actively contribute to building and scaling the required project team in line with delivery needs

Required Technical Skills:
? SAP S/4HANA implementation & Migration expertise (functional & delivery oversight)
? SAP Activate methodology and project governance frameworks
? SAP BTP fundamentals — integration and extension awareness
? Requirements gathering, blueprinting, and solution validation
? Project delivery & planning tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SAP Solution Manager
? Understanding of SAP integration technologies (SAP CPI/PI/PO – high-level)
? Strong knowledge of both functional and technical delivery lifecycles
? Strong stakeholder management with business owners
Required Hands-On Experience
? Experience delivering 2–4 full-cycle SAP SF and SAP S/4HANA implementation
? Led end-to-end SAP Implementation projects (Greenfield / Brownfield / Rollouts)
? Managed multiple workstreams (Functional, Technical, Integration, Data, Testing)
? Managed onshore–offshore delivery models
? Led cutover planning, go-live, and hyper care phases
Certifications:
? SAP Certified (S/4HANA / SuccessFactors certification)
? PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate certification (mandatory)

? Ex-employee of SAP, Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, IBM, NTTData (minimum 3 years preferred)
? Ability to travel to Qatar whenever required
? Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
? Balanced understanding of both business and technical delivery challenges
? PMP-certified and comfortable leading large, multi-discipline teams
