Job Description:
We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.
Responsibilities:
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing native Android and iOS applications to React Native.
Result of Service
• Highly responsive, scalable and integrated mobile applications built on React Native framework; running on any hardware with the latest Android and iOS versions; and using the latest state of the art features;
• Documented source code in source control management system ;
• Technical design and support documentation;
• Successfully completed support tickets.
• Qualifications/Special Skills
Skills:
The following are required as a minimum:
• Firm grasp of the React Native development, state management, and native components.
• Familiarity with TypeScript language.
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Experience in deploying and maintaining mobile application in Google PlayStore and Apple AppStore
The following are desirable:
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git and Continuous Integration/Deployment.
• Experience with automated testing suites for mobile applications
• Familiarity with Mobile apps messaging mechanisms
Academic Qualifications:
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems or related field. A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
The following are required as a minimum:
• 5+ years of experience in building mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• 3+ years of experience writing React Native applications
• 1+ years of experience of TypeScript
The following are desirable:
• Experience working in Agile project environments
• Experience with automated testing suites
