Job Description:

Qualification Criteria:
• B.E./B.Tech in any discipline or Master’s in IT/Computer Science or related fields.
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management credentials (desirable).
Experience Criteria:
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in IT project management.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end software development lifecycle (minimum three projects).
• Experience in client engagement, stakeholder management, change management, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risks, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
• Experience managing at least three (3) government or large-scale public sector IT projects.
• Experience in education or related domain projects.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with CBSE goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including the software development team.
• Oversee operational aspects of the project to ensure seamless execution.
• Identify potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and resolve project issues proactively to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Maintain a risk register and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with CBSE regulations and applicable standards.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet defined specifications.
• Conduct regular audits and project reviews.
• Allocate and monitor resources efficiently across all project phases.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including officials, department heads, and end-users.
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and review documentation.
• Manage scope changes through formal change management processes.
• Assess impact, update project plans, and communicate changes to all relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, meeting minutes, progress reports, and final evaluations.
• Ensure proper archival of project records for future audits and reference.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned.
• Recommend improvements for future IT initiatives related to the project.
