Job Description:
Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Project Manager in New York, NY.
Description:
• Lead the estimating, planning and implementation of data related projects
• Participate in the gathering of functional requirements
• Manage the implementation initiatives in a manner that will encourage goal achievement
• Provide insight and guidance on the Department's operational process design and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Set standards for data management and conceive projects needed to eliminate the gap between current state and future goals
• Examine business practices to ensure quality standards are being met or exceeded and identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance and efficiency through process improvement
• Interpret and deliver impactful plans that specify strategy and improve data integration, data quality and data delivery in support of business initiatives and roadmaps to achieve results
• Proactively identify risks associated with project development and delivery
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
• Closely collaborate with data stakeholders to drive decision making processes and facilitate discussions to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, project status updates, minutes from project meetings, project descriptions, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Qualification:
• Plans, organizes and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
• Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.
• 48 Months of Experience in financial services project management leading the estimating, planning and implementation of data-related projects
• 48 Months of Experience in managing implementation activities that encourage goal achievement
• 48 Months of Experience in independently analyzing, solving, and correcting issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
• 48 Months of Experience in maintaining detailed project documentation, including project plans, user stories (JIRAs, etc.), project status updates, minutes from project meetings, project descriptions
• 48 Months of Experience in proactively identifying risks associated with project development and delivery
• 48 Months of Experience in providing insight and guidance on the operational process design and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Project Management Professional Certification.
