Job Description:

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for Project Management Officer (Advisory and Strategy Execution Support) . This resource will be working at our client site in Central African Republic.

1. Scope of Work and Key Responsibilities
a) Strategic Advisory & Workstream Design
• Translate strategic priorities (e.g. audit recommendations, local procurement targets, outsourcing roadmaps) into actionable workplans and charters.
• Provide technical advisory inputs, risk mitigation, and change enablement.

b) Project Coordination & Execution
• Manage day-to-day planning and implementation of strategic workstreams (e.g., sector warehouse rationalization, LTA-based contracting, inventory review).
• Supervise implementation teams, monitor resource deployment, and adjust execution plans as needed.
• Ensure regular tracking of milestones, KPIs, risks, and interdependencies using project management tools.

c) Performance Monitoring, Reporting and Documentation
• Track KPIs, risks, and issue logs related to ongoing operational projects in coordination with the Business Intelligence Unit.
• Prepare consolidated progress reports, lessons learned documentation, and briefings to senior management. senior management, DOS, and oversight entities.
• Document bottlenecks, mitigation steps, and success stories.
• Consolidate project documentation including SOPs and process maps.
• Capture lessons learned and support institutionalization of good practices.

Perform any other tasks as deemed necessary.

2. Expected Deliverables
• Project workplans, dashboards, and implementation schedules
• Bi-weekly progress updates and stakeholder meeting reports
• Updated risk register and change log
• SOPs and training materials aligned with implemented solutions
• Final project closeout report with transition and sustainability recommendations

3. Qualifications and Experience
Education:
• Advanced university degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Public Administration, Business Management, Information systems, or a related field.
• Certification in PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management methodologies is desirable.
Experience:
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience managing complex projects, preferably in peacekeeping, humanitarian operations, or international field missions.
• Demonstrated success in coordinating cross-functional reform efforts, particularly in logistics, procurement, or institutional performance improvement.
• Experience working with rules and field support frameworks (e.g., Procurement Manual, Umoja) is desirable.
Skills:
• Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and risk management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to brief senior leadership.
• Familiarity with supply chain data, KPIs, and performance reporting frameworks.
Languages:
• Fluency in English required. Working knowledge of French is required, given the local context in CAR.
