Job Description:
Our client - a major utility firm based out of Westchester County, NY - has an immediate need for a Project Cost Analyst. The particulars of the position are as follows.
Project Overview:
This role will support the project Cost Controls team across a variety of Project Portfolios. This role plays a critical part in ensuring Project Cost Control discipline is assured across project, enabling project teams, leadership, and other key stakeholders to make informed decisions to support the successful execution of projects.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
• Staff will be partnered 1:1 with a Cost Analyst and be assigned a sub-set of projects within that Cost Analysts purview for daily management.
• Prepare for and attend Project update meetings, providing overviews of project cost variances and forecasts.
• Support core processes, such as Invoice Processing, Contract Financial Commitment management, Project Administrative Closure, and Accrual collection Skills
Skills:
• Intermediate-level skills in Excel
• Strong communicator and problem solver
• Ability to manage standardized processes across multiple projects
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Familiarity with project controls tools and techniques preferred
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or construction industries.
