Job Description:

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a PeopleSoft Financials Functional Analyst in Albany, NY.

Description:
The consultant will be performing business analysis activities working in conjunction with the development team.

• Prepare Software Requirements
• Write Functional Specifications
• Write Test Scripts
• Execute Test Scripts
• Liaise with users and developers
• Prepare and present analysis and solution options to management
• Special projects as required
• Write and use medium to complex SQL to retrieve and analyze data.

Mandatory Qualification:
• Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirements, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

• 84 Months of experience performing business analysis activities (Functional Analysis and Design, Business Process Definition, Requirements Management, Writing and Executing Test Scripts)
• 60 months of experience performing software analysis in a PeopleSoft 9.2 FINANCIALS ERP. Experience with PeopleSoft HCM and/or Campus Solutions does NOT qualify.
• 24 months of combined experience across the Oracle PeopleSoft Financials modules of Project Costing, Customer Contracts, Funds Distribution, and Federal Grant Awards as a functional analyst, with hands on exposure to each module.
Provide specific details of module experience.

• 24 months of experience as a functional analyst supporting Federal Grant Management Business Processes.

Provide specific details related to:
• Federal Grant management
• Funds Distribution, state match and the creation of a formal FFR (Federal Financial Report)
• Use of Project Costing data to support non-federal state spending reimbursement (e.g. bond sales).
