Job Description:

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Lead C# / .NET Developer in Albany, NY.

Description:
Lead developer for several applications, including but not limited to, Security Application Rewrite using Microsoft .NET Core, C#, PL/SQL, and various other programming tools.

Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .NET Core, JavaScript, Angular 2 or higher, Ajax, HTML, XML, Web APIs and WCF.
• Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
• Use a source code repository TFS for checking in and checking out source code branching off new versions of the source code.
• Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for application, as well as request services from other ITS groups.
• Code applications that access Protected Health Information.
• Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
• Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.

Mandatory Qualification:
• Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

• 84 months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain complex n-tier web browser-based applications in C# for n-tier web deployment.
• 84 months of experience with Oracle 11G or higher and writing SQL and PL/SQL queries, updates, stored procedures, functions and cursors, and Oracle SQL query optimization.
• 84 months of experience in developing and maintaining web applications that utilize modern client-side technologies such as HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
• 36 months of experience in developing applications that utilize .NET Core MVC.
• 24 months of experience in developing web-based application user interface with responsive web design (RWD) that follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
• 84 months of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .NET web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SOAP/Restful APIs, message and queue processing, and/or an Enterprise Service Bus.
• 60 months of experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source code management.
• 36 months of experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
