Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Java Web Developer in Albany, NY.
Description:
This position is responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and development of both new and existing applications hosted within the portal.
The consultant's day-to-day work will include:
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for a portfolio of existing portal applications to ensure their stability, security, and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and other development teams to design, develop, and implement new applications and features on the portal platform.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues that arise within the portal or its applications, working to minimize disruption and downtime.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design discussions, and code reviews to promote best practices for application development and maintenance.
Mandatory Qualification:
• Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.
Expert
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience as a Java Web Developer
• 36 months experience writing SOAP based Webservices
• 12 months experience developing applications or portlets for a Liferay Portal
• 12 months experience developing Java JavaServer Faces (JSF) or PrimeFaces Frameworks
• 12 months experience writing SQL or PL/SQL in Oracle Database Environment
• 12 months experience writing, parsing and creating specification documentation for XML or JSON based documents
• 12 months experience using Apache Tomcat Server
• 12 months experience using the Linux operating system.
