Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Java Developer in Schenectady, NY.
Description:
This position supports several Java web applications. In addition, all new work involving design, development, testing and implementation of an application throughout the System Development Life Cycle. The position will also be expected to provide training and mentoring to less experienced developers.
• Design and create scripts for databases,
• Design, develop, maintain and enhance Java applications,
• Test applications,
• Create and maintain documentation,
• Assist with implementation and ITSM incidents.
Mandatory Qualification:
• Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience programming server-side Java web applications in a multi-tier environment using JDK 1.5 or higher.
• 60 months experience writing queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle 10g or higher.
• 48 months development experience in database design and objects
creation/modification of databases consisting of 20 or more tables in Oracle 10g or higher.
• 48 months programming experience with Java Server Faces.
• 36 months programming experience with Java Persistence API.
• 36 months experience with JavaScript/jQuery.
