Job Description:
Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for an IT Support Specialist in Rensselaer, NY.
Description:
Provide support for child welfare applications and initiatives.
Day to Day tasks to be performed by candidate include:
• Provide user support via in-person, email and telephone
• provide direct, on-site instruction to individual users and small groups
• provide instruction on newly released functionality
• deliver presentations to line staff
• monitor compliance with data entry requirements
• review training materials
• provide technical assistance with data warehouse.
Mandatory Qualification:
• Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.
• Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.
• 36 months of experience providing IT support to users.
• 36 months of experience providing implementation support services.
• 18 months of experience providing onsite systems support in a child welfare environment. Child welfare is defined as child protective, foster care / permanency or preventive services.
• 18 months of experience training staff in a child welfare environment. Child welfare is defined as child protective, foster care / permanency or preventive services.
• Bachelor's Degree.
