Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Information Technology Assistant. This resource will be working in Beirut Lebanon.
Job Description:
The individual contractor will work on the following tasks:
- Assist in monitoring and investigating ICT infrastructure systems i.e. SIEM, Network monitoring, Identity service engine, Wireless controller, etc.
- Assist in monitoring cybersecurity systems i.e. Microsoft Defender, Firewalls, etc.
- Assist the infrastructure and Cybersecurity Operations team to track vulnerabilities and problems identified.
- Assist in contributing to new and ongoing projects using Cloud technologies and virtualization.
Expected outputs and delivery dates
- Monitoring and Reporting: The contractor will produce regular monitoring reports for various IT and cybersecurity systems, including SIEM, network monitoring, identity services, and Microsoft Defender. These reports should detail system health, performance metrics, identified anomalies, and a summary of any issues or risks found.
- Troubleshooting and Incident Documentation: The contractor is expected to provide detailed documentation for troubleshooting efforts. This includes log analysis, root cause analysis reports, and action plans to resolve identified issues.
- Vulnerability and Problem Tracking: The contractor will maintain and update a tracking system or a log of all identified vulnerabilities and problems. The output should be a clear, organized list that includes the status of each item, the stakeholder responsible for remediation, and the timeline for resolution.
- Project Contributions: For projects involving cloud technologies, data pipelines, and CI/CD, the contractor's outputs will include code contributions, updated configuration files, and technical documentation. This could also involve building and maintaining specific components, such as a new CI/CD pipeline or a data ingestion script.
- Proxmox and Virtualization Management: The contractor will provide documentation on the configuration and maintenance of Proxmox environments. This could include reports on virtual machine performance, backups, and any changes made to the virtualization setup.
Qualifications
- A First Level University degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer Science or related area is required. All candidates must submit a copy of the required educational degree. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
- Knowledge of the relevant subjects in at least two of the following areas is required: Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC); Threat, Vulnerability, and Incident Management; BCP/DR; Application Security; Information Security; Network Security; Virtualization; DevOps, Core networking technologies such as switches, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, and network access control systems;
- Familiarity with modern enterprise platforms and tools for identity services, threat prevention, and cloud integration is desirable.
- English and French are the working languages and Arabic is a working language of client.
For this position, fluency in English is required and knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
