Trigyn has contractual opportunity for Helpdesk Technician. This resource will be deployed at our client site in Colombia.
This job is open for only local candidates.
Assist users and other technical staff solving network and end user equipment problems. The main tasks will be:
-Receive and process Help Desk Calls;
-Record request for services in HP Open View or other HD application;
-Assist users both remotely or in person on any IT related problem;
-Identifies, tracks, isolate and repair network faults;
-Prepares (image) PC, laptops and servers for deployment;
-Uses hardware and software tools to monitor network utilization, efficiency and Performance.
-Windows 9x/WinNT/Win2000 Desktops/Laptops – Installation, configuration, LAN connection, software installation, trouble-shooting;
-Lotus Notes' – Client installation and maintenance, setting up connection of users to the server;
-Help Desk support – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes/Mail;
-Design and deployment of standard user desktop environment;
-Training and support for new users.
*Candidate must have at least 5 years of working experience in IT Helpdesk.
*Must be conversant in user hardware and software support especially under Windows environment and Microsoft Office.
*Must have a national drivers licence for a light motor vehicle.
