Job Description:

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Helpdesk Specialist in Menands, NY.

Description:
Provide IT support for the Health Commerce System (HCS) supporting users with authentication and login issues. They will prepare documentation and conduct formal/informal training sessions to effectively transfer knowledge.

Perform Tier 2 Level support for Health Commerce System (HCS). Log and track support tickets. Create, review, and update user support documentation. Provide quality assurance testing for core HCS applications used by HCS users. Assist in training and support efforts.

Mandatory Qualifications:
• Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

• 84 Months experience in Helpdesk duties, taking calls and dealing with customers and taking Level 2 application related tickets.
• 36 Months experience of reviewing and enforcement of Security compliance policy and procedure.
• 36 months experience documenting/writing training materials.
• 36 Months developing and delivering employee training materials.
• 36 Months experience troubleshooting access issues/permissions, individual accounts, hardware, and applications.
• 36 months experience lifting up to 25 lbs. of equipment and running cable over and under furniture.
• 36 Months experience using Ticket tracking systems (ITSM, Redmine, or equivalent).
