Job Description:
Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Data Warehouse Developer / Architect in Albany, NY.
Description:
• Data Warehouse design, development, support and data mining related to new and existing complex Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) routines related to Fraud Detection/Improper Payment algorithms;
• Develop, test and implement program logic for data mining and ETL development;
• Efficiently implement ETL technical specifications from development through test, staging and production environments;
• Optimize ETL data load jobs to improve performance and automate;
• Investigating and resolving data loading and/or data integrity issues;
• Create solutions to improve system performance and availability;
• Develop and maintain logical and physical dimensional data models for data warehouse/data mart;
• Follow agency standards to ensure data accuracy and integrity through analysis and coding;
• Write clear documentation of process and data modeling and all associated tasks and documents including unit and quality assurance test plans.
• Work closely with Office of Special Investigations, Data Warehouse and Management staff to ensure clear communication between all parties.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 Months Experience developing fraud detection methodologies and transforming data elements into meaningful fraud detection queries and customer output
• 84 Months experience with Unemployment Insurance.
• 84 Months Experience developing and testing query solutions using Oracle PL/SQL query.
• 84 Months Experience using IBM Data Stage.
• 84 Months Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting
• 84 Months Experience developing dimensional data models for Cognos data analytics
• 84 Months Experience with ETL design/Data Warehouse development using PL/SQL programming
• 84 Months Experience in tuning SQL within an Oracle environment
• 36 Months Experience working with PPI and SSA data security requirements (working with data contained in Employee Records in a State Agency, Federal Agency or Private Organization) in a data warehouse environment.
