Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Communications Specialist. This resource will be working Remotely.

Job Description:

The scope of Communication activities are as follows:.
Work on communications projects, campaigns and deliverables, provide weekly progress report to senior management. Identify, address and mitigate issues and risks on ongoing communications projects/activities. Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team to conceptualize, scope, and develop project deliverables and timelines, and ensure project goals/deadlines are met successfully.
Support with the creation and updating of communication products in close collaboration with Client’s Communications, Advocacy and Partnerships Expert and in alignment with client brand and communication guidelines and global frameworks.
Support the preparation of Client’s engagements at the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum Support the preparation of Client’s engagements at Hamburg Sustainability conference and the implementation of the Digital Tools Showcase side event including communications and outreach activities, procurement, event logistics and onsite operations.

Competencies, Experience and Requirements:
• Master’s degree, in fields related to sustainable urban development such as Urban Planning, Geography, or any similar field or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in using web-based graphic design platforms (i.e. Canva), Kanban-style project management tools (i.e. Trello) and Microsoft Office 365 Suite Applications
• Has extensive knowledge of communication and production management
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
• Extremely detail-oriented with proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written) along with professional manner and presentation required
• Strong collaboration skills; experience working with people from diverse backgrounds or in an international setting
• Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
• Strong skills in writing, including writing web copy, press releases, news articles and publications is desirable.
• Experience in working with digital platforms and websites, including social media is desirable.
• Experience in managing events is desirable
