Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Cloud Engineer in New York, NY.
Description:
• Manage and support AWS Labs environment for project Data Platform.
• Configure and Monitor Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cloud Applications.
• Support deployment automation
• Performing security checks on the platform.
• Monitor and report on utilization, costs, and budget.
• Experience with AWS, AWS CLI, Kafka, AWS EKS, Scripting, Python/Java/JavaScript, Lambda function, Amazon Route 53
• AWS Infrastructure setup and maintenance.
Mandatory Qualification:
• Applies engineering disciplines to cloud computing and brings a systematic approach to concerns of commercialization, standardization, and governance of cloud computing applications.
• Leverages the methods and tools of engineering in conceiving, developing, operating and maintaining cloud computing systems and solutions.
• Uses the economics of cloud resources to solve business problems.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 60 months experience managing AWS cloud services
• 84 months experience managing services like Docker, Kafka, Zookeeper, Kubernetes, Jenkins
• 60 months experience Python/Java, Shell scripting, AWS Lambda, RESTful APIs
• 72 months experience in OSS cloud monitoring systems (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
• Cloud administration certifications (AWS)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business intelligence, information science or related field.
