Job Description:

Our client - a major utility firm based out of Westchester County, NY - has an immediate need for Business Continuity Analyst. The particulars of the position are as follows.

Project Overview:
This role will support the Business Continuity Team to achieve annual policy requirements, including but not limited to, engaging Mission Essential Function Owners (i.e., Business Impact Analysis [BIA] / Business Continuity Plan [BCP] Owners) to refresh documentation in EGRC Archer, facilitating the review and completion of BIA / BCP refresh efforts, and supporting program analysis and reporting.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

This role is limited to Business Continuity Program and will be assigned several tasks to supporting annual policy requirements, including:
• Engaging Business Continuity Stakeholders to schedule BIA / BC Refresh sessions before plan deadlines
• Facilitating stakeholder working sessions to review and updates BIA / BCPs, including Archer review / approval workflows
• Performing ad hoc program analysis and reporting to program and senior leadership
• Conducting BIAs for legacy IT Products & Services
• Escalating issues / challenges to the Business Continuity Team
• Engaging with IT Disaster Recovery to ensure application and Recovery Time Objective alignment
• Coordinating with the Archer Product Owner Team to mitigate and resolve any bugs / issues preventing completion of annual policy requirements.

Skills:
• Prior skills / experience in Business Continuity Management, with emphasis on developing / facilitating Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plan reviews.
• Experience with Business Continuity software, such as EGRC Archer or equivalent, is preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage workload and stakeholder engagements independently, following a series of steps / instructions
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PPT, Word)
• Ability to manage and execute concurrent workstreams / assignments
• Experience in data analytics and synthesizing trends / themes for reporting

Education & Certifications:
• BS in Business Administration or equivalent
• Professional experience, including experience leading tasks and managing stakeholders
• Business Continuity certifications or experience preferred.
