Job Description:

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Business Analyst. This resource will be working at our client site in Sudan.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the business processes for the acquisition and replenishment of fast-moving goods.
2. Implementation and use of the Supply Chain Planning Tool.
3. Implement buffer levels for all fast-moving materials, ensuring operational stocks are maintained.
4. Establishment of reorder levels, minimum levels, minimum reorder quantity, etc. based on historical consumption patterns.
5. Analyze the demand of materials for Technical Units (Transport, Engineering, FTS and General Supply) and decide the purchase, when required, through the sources that will optimize costs, delivery times or mitigate risks for stock out.
6. Analyze stock holdings, consumption patterns, demand and forecasts; maximizing the use of funds and aligning to acquisition plans.
7. Initiate replenishment of stocks through creation of shopping carts and the use of existing system contracts, long term agreements, local contracts, blankets purchase orders, low value acquisitions, SDS inventories, Mission surplus and petty cash.
8. Monitor the status of acquisition process with relevant stakeholders and generate comprehensive reports to Senior Managers.
9. Support the preparation of Business Intelligence Reports, analyze the outcomes and present recommendations.
10. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
11. Monitor and coordinate the incoming goods with Inbound Delivery Coordination team, when required.
12. Coordinate the joint inspection with Technical Unit counterparts and R&I, when and as necessary, to ensure compliance with the technical specifications of materials received.
13. Ensure the data of materials and equipment received are accurate in UMOJA. Request creation of new PIDs when required.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical certificate in at least one of the following areas is an advantage: logistics, supply chain management, inventory management or business administration.

Work Experience and required Skills
A minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in inventory management, warehouse management or logistics.
Experience in supporting supply services for international peacekeeping or military operations is desirable.
Working experience in UMOJA warehouse module and inventory management module is mandatory.
Minimum three (3) years of proven UMOJA experience is required.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands

Other Requirements
1. Knowledge of UMOJA ECC to be able to run inventory reports.
2. Working knowledge and navigation of client Material Master Material and Service Catalogue in Umoja and identification of correct PIDs.
3. Hands-on experience with analyzing large volumes of data sets and capable of creating reports and dashboards.

Languages
Fluency in spoken and written English.
